Ideas for Use

Replace any lost dice from the Roll a Rainbow game.

Young students can roll the die and identify the shape and/or the color that is on the top.

Two dice can be rolled and the two shapes compared. For example, if a square and a trapezoid are on the top faces, students can note that both shapes have four corners or vertices. However, all four sides of the square are equal and form right angles at the corners; whereas, the sides of the trapezoid are different lengths, and none of the corners are right angles.
