Ideas for Use

1. Use a one to two die with another number die and a function die to practice simple math facts such as beginning addition.

2. Use one to two dice to replace the dice in a board game, especially a game that does not have very many spaces.

3. Use two or more dice for probability problems. Combine one of these dice with a numbered die of a different shape for more difficult probability questions.

4. Use various combinations of dice to make easier or harder math drills.

02 Binary Dice and 1 to 2 Dice

This combination is good for those just learning to add. The combination is also useful for beginning probability or any other time a very small number of combinations is desired.

addition - limits problems to ten. All problems rolled can be reproduced on fingers using one hand for each die.
subtraction - limits problems to 5 − 5
multiplication - limits problems to 5 × 5 making it easy to illustrate the problems rolled with physical objects or by drawing shapes on paper
