Detailed Product Description
A six-sided die with the units milliliter, centiliter, deciliter, meter, kiloliter and a star for a "wild" side.
Ideas for Use
Have a student roll a dice and state the units shown on the top, such as centiliters. Then the student can state how that relates to the basic unit. “One hundred centiliters equals one liter.” Or the student can give the next smaller and larger unit--milliliter, centiliter, deciliter (or liter).
For more of a challenge, combine a number die with the unit die. Then the student must convert to the next higher or lower unit. For example if a student rolls a twenty and centiliters, he should say, “Twenty centiliters is two hundred milliliters.” Or he may say, “Twenty centiliters is two deciliters or one fifth of a liter.”
