Book 3 introduces short u words, practices those words in stories, introduces adding s to make words plural, practices those words, then reviews the words from all the readers.

Kook-ee Jar Fast, furious and deliciously fun! This game teaches right from left, counting, directional thinking, and visual comprehension. Players each start with three Kook-ees and take turns rolling the three dice. According to the symbols rolled, players either have to give a Kook-ee to the play on the right, give a Kook-ee to the player on the left, put a Kook-ee back in the jar, or keep a Kook-ee. The first player to fill their cookie on the score pad with five chocolate chips wins the game.

Magnetic letters and numbers are soft and finger-friendly, yet they stick firmly. The color of each upper-case letter matches the color of the lower-case letter. This should help young children to associate upper-case and lower-case pairs such as Bb and Dd more easily. Two of each number allows counting to 100 and more.
