Ideas for Use

Roll the dice and practice the basic facts.

Use one of the double dice to replace the pair of dice in a board game. The outside number will be the number moved. Decide whether the two numbers will be added, subtracted, multiplied, or divided. Roll the dice and state the correct problem and answer. Then, move the number shown on the outside of the double dice.

For more difficulty, always subtract the inside number from the outside number and move according to the answer. When the answers are negative, students will have to move backwards.
